Scope and Content

A large notebook, with seven loose paper leaves folded inside, containing manuscript drafts of verse by Sir Peter Quennell, c.1926-7. The poems includes 'Leviathan', 'Meander', 'Hero Entombed', 'The Divers', 'Hermaphrodite', 'The Antelopes', 'Country Man and Hermaphrodite', 'Soldier and Hermaphrodite', 'Inscription over a fountain head' and 'The young sibyl'.
