To Sir Watkin Willliam-Wynn Bart. This map of North Wales is respectfully inscribed by his obliged and obedient servant John Evans. Engraved by Robert Baugh. Publish as the Act directs March 27th 1797.

Shows rivers, hills in relief, sandbanks. Marks county boundaries. Roads are shown, with unfenced roads pecked. Settlement marked more or less according to Ordnance Survey Convention, but churches, large houses and castles are shown representationally. Parks are merely named 'park'. Wat's' Dyke and Offa's Dyke are shown, Distances between towns are shown along the route.
