Sydney Alfred Wretham was an employee of the CWS for over 51 years and in 1957, whilst working at the London Audit Department, a resolution was passed at the CWS Board meeting to acknowledge high appreciation of the conscientious and faithful services rendered by Mr Sydney A Wretham during his long and honourable association with this society. Most notable during this 51 years service, Wretham devised a model balance sheet in 1919 for all societies to use.
