No information was available regarding this school attended by Conwy borough children in the 18th century, other than the name of the schoolmaster, Joseph Sheldon.
The borough of Conway occupies a tongue of land bounded on the E. by the wide estuary of the River Conway and on the S. by the tidal creek forming the mouth of the Afon Gyffin.
