Clyde Nail Co Ltd was incorporated as a joint stock company in 1900  with registered offices in Newton, Glasgow, Scotland with a share capital of £50,000. The company manufactured and marketed nails, spikes, washers, rivets, nuts, bolts and other types of fastenings. Joseph Reid, a Glasgow merchant and partner in Reid Bros , engineering and colliery furnishers, was a director of the company. The company was dissolved in 1998  .
