The records relate to St Columba's Presbyterian Church and St Columba's United Reformed Church. The United Reformed Church was formed in 1972 as a result of the merging of the Presbyterian and Congregational churches. The collection also contains the records of the Oxford University Congregational Society and the Iona Society, which was the University Presbyterian Society. These societies merged in 1968 to form The 1970 Society.
The material was deposited as Acc 4946 in January 2002, Acc 5312 in August 2004 and 5345 in August 2005.
