The Packaging of Women: how women are portrayed in advertisements

Scope and Content

'The Packaging of Women' seminar was held on 27 Mar 1976 at Conway Hall. Its purpose was to discuss the images of women presented in television and press advertising to see whether and how it might be possible to influence current business thinking and practices to reflect changing attitudes, both towards women and of women themselves
