Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he has had a letter from Lord Malmesbury's Secretary that says he is not able to send Owen's parcel. Owen says that this response is more than he expected. Owen goes on to say he has a letter for Rigby to take to the Secretary to the Colonies which he expects a reply to.

Owen says that he is suprised that nothing has been published against his pamphlet.

He ends the letter by asking Rigby o tell Mr Cotter that he hasn't received copies of his Millennial Gazette.
