Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Robert Owen tells James Rigby that the doctor has visited and returned with the preparation for my next review, and that he regrets he has not been able to meet with the lady who was anxious to pay him a visit before she departed for Australia.

He inquires about the whereabouts of a copy left by Robert Owen, his son, of a power of attorney from himself to Mr Cooper.

He continues by relaying that he is suffering from an extreme cold and lumbago [back pain] although he hopes to be well enough for his planned trip to London next week.
