Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that his communications to the French government have been refused by the Embassy. Owen says that he has written to Lord Stanley, Secretary of State for India to see if he will allow him to send communications to the Governor General of India.

Owen goes on to say that Mr Cotter's costs are too high, although the circulation of ten thousand among the masses would be useful.

Owen concludes by saying that Mr and Mrs Twort are both ill.
