Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter asking Rigby to send copies of his works to Mr John Scott. Owen goes on to say that if The Telegraph puts their statements if the paper he should put in a short notice the day before to say that the next day they would give a just account of the first days meeting of the congress of The Reformers of the World.

Owen then asks Rigby to pick up his watch from Cox’s hotel and send it to him by Omnibus. He ends the letter by saying that as soon as he has recovered from his journey to London he will prepare the particulars of the second adjourned meeting of the congress of the Reformers of the World and send them to Dr Travis for the printer.
