Manuscript letter. Holmes begins by enquiring if the heat of the elections have passed over with you? He says that in Wakefield the forces are trying to unseat Cobden. He reports that the only one on their side that is seated is Goderich and is suprised Conningham is far behind. He says he does not understand Conningham's repudiation of communism.
Holmes goes on to enquire if Rigby has received his manuscript on his co-op experiment and also asks when E V Neale's New Law will be out.
