Letter from William Pare to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter. Pare says that he has learnt that Rigby has gained work as a curator of valuable treasure.[This may be a reference to him helping to collect the correspondence of Robert Owen]. Pare goes on to say that the affairs of the trustees [of Robert Owen] will require some thought. He says that for some months he has been getting together a memoranda of the movements of Robert Owen from 1840 to 1853. He also asks if Owen received the note he sent to him.
