Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Manuscript letter giving Rigby instructions of what to do with the parcel Owen has sent him and who to send the contents to.

Owen goes to say that the Duke of Newcastle and Mr Secretary Walpole have written to him to say they have presented his petition.

Owen concludes by saying that Mrs Twort is now much better.

Also enclosed is a letter to Sir John Bowring [Emperor of Hong Kong] which Owen makes reference to. In this letter Owen requests that Bowring forwards some packages to various dignitaries in Asia.
