Letter from William Pare to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter giving Rigby permission to add a copy of Thompson’s [Distribution of Wealth] to the library. Pare says that when the library is placed on a sound basis he will present other works.

Pare complains that Dr Travis and Fleming did not attend [a meeting?] on the previous Friday.

Pare goes on to talk about a report he has received. He says that it could have come from our own mind. Pare says he has sent it to several newspapers and private parties and has since joined the society. He goes on to write about attending their consultation.

Pare closes the letter by asking Rigby if he has read his letter about the engineers dispute in the Daily News.
