Letter from William Pare to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he received the book he sent him. Pare asks Rigby to call on Mr Morgan to tell him he is anxious to begin his abridgement of Thompson’s Distribution of Wealth and is just waiting on the two books he was to send him.

Pare asks Rigby to make a memorandum of the packages sent to him by [Robert] Owen. He also says that he has seen signs that the good old cause is silently but most certainly progressing.Pare goes on to ask Rigby to send him various publications.

Attached to the letter is a note regarding books been sent to Dublin via Mr Finch and Mr Smith.
