Letter from George Simpson to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter asking Rigby to place his name as a member of the Co-operative League. Simpson also encloses a cicrcular listing the names of several parties which wish the League to succeed. He notes that Rigby asked him to send a copy of the tables of affairs of Harmony Hall. He says that the only value they have is to act as a warning to you in this new undertaking how insecure you will be should you coontract debts or take credit in the early formation of your league.
