Letter from William Lamb to E V Neale

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter from William Lamb informing that he has completed the form that he received relating to Co-operative Associations. Lamb updates Neale on the progress of Liverpool Co-operative Society. He notes that they are doing as well as can be expected in the area but says they have to overcome the prejudices of people caused by similar organisations in the area been disastrous failures. He goes on to outline the nature of these failures. Lamb says that he hopes to convince the most sceptical of people that there are substantial benefits connected with associations such as ours.
