Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter regarding Charles William Gregory who it has been recommended by the Inspector of the Commissioners of Lunacy should be locked up. Owen says he is most concerned about the affair and that he fears that if they don't follow the Commissioner's advice that he may kill a stranger.

Owen goes on to give Rigby instructions for the distribution of his publications. He closes the leter by saying he is going to Tunbridge with Mrs Twort.
