Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Manuscript letter which Owen begins by saying could you not put some life into those dry bones were you to attend their weekly meetings? [it is unclear which meetings this refers to].

Owen goes on to say that he felt that Robert Cooper would be disappointed in the property that Fletcher left him. But Owen suggests that if he sold it it may be more beneficial than the sum he was expecting.

Owen says that when the current [Millenial] Gazettes are completed he wishes to see Rigby to make arrangements for Owen’s life story. Owen says that when he has completed the Millenial Gazette he wishes to call a congress in St Martins Hall of the advanced minds of the world.

Owen concludes by asking Rigby to ask Mr Clayton for the bill for the half yearly Times.
