Letter from John Finch to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that various persons have arrived [at Harmony Hall] safely and that he thinks they will answer the purpose they came for very well. Finch goes on to give an update of progress at Harmony Hall including details of new buildings and of the progress of the people there.

Finch speaks about Mr Galpen and describes him as a worthy son of our venerable founder.

Finch ends the letter by saying that they want for nothing but money to make them a self supporting colony within twelve months.
