Letter from William Devonshire Saull to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter which Saull begins by saying that as he wasn't present when the resolutions of the Co-operative League were passed he doesn't know if the expectations of its founders have realigned. However, as there is a large deficiency on the balance sheet he doesn't believe it to have done so. Therefore he is happy to contribute £5 per year to the co-operative League so long as others are willing to do so.
