Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby he has received a letter from Lord Stanley saying that the packets he wishes to post will not go sooner or safer through the Board of Control. Therefore Owen says that Rigby can post the packets to India and China through the ordinary mail.

Owen asks Rigby for the particulars of the returned covers of the Millennial Gazette from the U.S. He also wishes to know how many volumes of his autobiography are left.

Owen concludes by saying that Mr and Mrs Twort are feeling better.
