Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter in which Owen asks Rigby to take the 2nd petition of his meeting to Lord Monteagle and Lord Goderich and ask if they have any objection to move for a committee to investigate the subjects. Owen also discusses who would be a proper person to entrust with another petition.

He goes on to say that if The Telegraph inserts the proceedings [of the meeting?] then he would like 1000 copies to be sent to press all over the world.
