Letter from John Clement Pare to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter asking Rigby if he could keep a look out for the three volumes of Annuals of Horticulture. He also says that he is doing a garden for a Mr Freshman and would therefore like the two volumes called Perennials by Mrs Loudon. He asks Rigby how much it will be to ship some silver sand. He also talks about his dislike for the character of a girl named Charlotte Galpin, who he mentions in a letter dated 21st September 1848. Furthermore he asks if he has seen Dr Travis. Finally he asks Rigby if he sees Mr Owen could he ask him to send an autograph of Laura Times.
