In these two letters Lord Cowper writes to Lady Russell concerning Lord Galway's chaplain and the living at Sedgebrook which he explains may be reserved for the Duke of Rutland and Lord Harborough's friend. He also mentions Mr Vaughan and Mr Wright. He writes in his second letter of a house he has bid for at the same price as Lady Russell's friend and enquires as to whether her friend still wishes to have the house as a tenant.
