In the hand of John Ady, who was initially employed in 1778 by John Chorley of the London Committee as an assistant to help keep the books, enter the minutes and index them. He was dismissed for embezzlement in 1811. The above minutes therefore comprise the London Committee's fair copies of their own minutes
