Administrative / Biographical History

The Amman Valley Chronicle and East Carmarthen News was established in 1913 in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. It was absorbed by the South Wales Guardian Group, publishers of the South Wales Guardian, in 1959, which then became the South Wales Guardian and Amman Valley Chronicle. The newpaper is now part of the Newsquest Media Group.
