Administrative / Biographical History

Lottie May Swansbury was born in Abergwynfi in 1908, and in 1912 her family moved to Treorchy. She left school in 1922 and entered domestic service. She worked for a time in London but in 1931 returned home to marry William John Evans, and settled in Treorchy where they had two daughters. She died in 1996.
