Administrative / Biographical History
Parish councils, including Llan-non Parish Council, Carmarthenshire, were established by the Local Government Act 1894. Community councils replaced parish councils under local government reorganization in 1974.
Arranged into the following: minute books; declarations; receipt and payment account book; mortgages; public cemetery; war memorial; development plan; maps and plans; miscellaneous; Tumble Burial Board; minute books; Leisure and Amenities Committee; and Tumble Public Hall and Workmens Institute Ltd.
Deposited by E. Evans, Clerk to LLan-non Parish Council, in 1962 and 1977 and by Byron Jones, Clerk to Llan-non Community Council in 1977 and 1992 - 1995.
