J. Rees Roberts of Bangor was the son of Mr Ellis Roberts, joiner and secretary of the Bangor and District Building and Kindred Trades Employers' Association. No further biographical information was available at time of compilation of description.
The Bangor and District Building and Kindred Trades Employers' Association changed its name to The Caernarvonshire and Anglesey Building and Kindred Trades Employers' Association in November 1930.
