Scope and Content

Series of lantern slides from Seion Baptist Chapel, Penmaenmawr [all numbered when received apart from the 1 now identified as CP178/23]. Lantern slides in wooden box, many group portraits, but also coloured slides of the Aladdin fable and religious texts in Welsh. Also magic lantern. Also portrait of Robert John Roberts, quarryman, of David Street and later 1 Ashlea, Cwm Road, Penmaenmawr in frame; and his First World War service medals.

Believed that the slides and magic lantern were used by Robert John Roberts in Seion Baptist Chapel.
