The Irish Submarine Telegraph Company was founded in 1852 by Royal Charter. Its purpose was to establish electric telegraph communications between Britain and Ireland. It was formed by David Montagu Erskine, Edward Hoare and George Lathom Browne.
It is unclear whether this company was operational.
