Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Babcock International Investments Ltd , London, England, was incorporated in 1920 to act as an operating company for the overseas interests of Babcock & Wilcox Ltd , boilermakers, Glasgow, Scotland. By 1975 , Babcock & Wilcox Ltd had subsidiary companies in Australia, Belgium, France, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and West Germany. In 2002 , Babcock Investments Ltd was a non-trading company based owned by Babcock International Group plc.
