Administrative / Biographical History

London County Council Architect's Department acquired a large quantity of photographs of London pre World War II and post blitz, as well as generating images of its own exhibitions, models and developments, both in construction and complete. Many of these were intended for its own publications, exhibitions and for press distribution.
