Notebook comprises entries relating to specimens collected on the Isle of Skye and a few from the Isle of Rum, 1901-1902. Individual entries on the right hand page of the notebook consist of an identifying number, a short description of the specimen and then a number in square brackets. In some but not all cases, this is followed by a comment in normal brackets with the locality and page numbers. Entries on the facing left hand page expand on the descriptions on the right. Also including a printed calendar for 1901 and 1902 (inside front cover).
