Postcard of The Broomielaw, Glasgow; showing the river Clyde, and a street [The Broomielaw] on the riverfront on the left of the picture, with a crowd of people on the quayside, four steam ships on the water, and the opposite bank of the river in the right of the picture. Printed on cream card. The photograph is within a border of thistles printed in brown, centred slightly to the left of the card, with a manuscript message on the right. The reverse has a manuscript address in black, and two postage stamps.
The postcard says Bowerman didn't think she would be able to go down till Friday after all, so would meet her mother in town that day.
