Comprises of minutes of Trustees of the AA Centenary Endowment Fund meetings, 23 January 1948 - 10 December 1959.

Administrative / Biographical History

There seem to have been two appeals for donations to the Centenrary Endowment Fund, one in 1947 and one in 1951. The largest payment by the endowment trust fund was £5500 towards the construction of the new studio on the top of the AA's premises facing onto Morwell Street block in 1959. A further payment was made of £328.13s. 3d was paid for the purpose of purchasing equipment and instruments for the Services Demonstration Room.


Minutes are arranged chronologically within volume, from pages 49 - 80. Also included within the volume are minutes of the meetings of the Building Sub Committee, from pages 1 - 7.
