Typed notes by W.R. Brock, regarding the reminiscences of Thomas Allan. Brock apparently viewed the miscrofilm of the typed copy; original written in 1865. The reminiscences are held in the southern historical collection, in the University of North Carolina. Brock only has the following to say about the papers;
Thomas Allan lived in Scotland for the first half of his life and emigrated to Virginia in the 1830s, to become a nursery man and diary farmer. [S.d.]
