'Si Dayang Rindu', a South Sumatran romance in blank verse (bahasa berirama), concerning the Prince of Niru, a client of the ruler of Palembang, and the Princess of Tanjung Iran, and the war which ensued over her betrothal. Scope and Content

The original manuscript is a bark folding book of 13 folds (Ch.B.1171). Begins:

Gerang layu jangan dipadikan

Lagi lama didalam dusun

Mangati perang adah payu

Sakarang ini perang payu
