14 original pen and ink line illustrations on cartridge paper, for a limited edition of Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem. Several of the illustrations have been mounted for display, possibly for exhibition or sale at some point after the book was published. All but one of the illustrations has been numbered in pencil and they have been arranged here in the order dictated by these pencil numbers, with the unnumbered illustration at the end. However, it is not clear when or why these annotations were made, and the relationship between the illustrations and the text of the poem suggests that this is probably not the order in which the illustrations appeared in the printed book.
