[To Miss Emily Marion Harris.] 'How good it was of you to send me that fine photograph of the striking face of the learned and amiable Rabbi [presumably Miss Harris's friend, Moses Gaster] whose visit was an honour which I hope he will repeat - if possible, in company with yourself ... Depend ... on receiving a ticket for the [Royal Academy] Soirée in due course. Meanwhile I send one or two admissions to what I fear are less desirable Private Views.
