Scope and Content

From Millbrook, near Prescot, Lancashire, to Clarke's children in London, requesting that the copy be sent urgently or it will be too late.

He is considering publishing all the tracts, that he has written in one volume.

A "general meeting" of the Clarke family to be held at Stouport, Worcestershire has been suggested, although Clarke himself will only go if all his children can attend. He believes that as it will be probably be the last time that all the family will meet together, then it should be a "solemn act… like a patriarchal family of old", and that the Sacrament should be administered, just as Samuel Wesley on his death bed, ordered that his family should receive Communion together.
