Facsimile letter from Haydon Hall, Middlesex, to Revd. Robert Melson in Loughborough, re an advertisement placed in a a magazine by a gardener.

Clarke states the advantages that such a person could gain from working at Haydon Hall, describing the Halls situation and several aspects of the household routine. Reference is made to the coach house on the estate, which Clarke has converted at his own expense into a chapel.
