Scope and Content

To Thomas Joseph Pettigrew in London, reporting in detail for the information of the Duke of Sussex, on the progress of Mr. Fox's translation of the Burmese and Sinhalese religious manuscripts, and the difficulties that he has experienced.

He also commends to the Duke's notice, a translation of the works of Arminius, by one of Clarke's acquaintances. The work has been subscribed to by several prominent people, including the Bishops of Chester, Bristol, and Limerick, and the Dean of Peterborough.
