From Millbrook, near Prescot, Lancashire, to Revd. Jabez Bunting in London, re Clarke's request to Mr. Qualter to call the September District meeting.
Clarke has seen no proofs of the Wesley memoirs other than the ones he showed Bunting in Sheffield. He has told the "lads" (Clarke's sons) not to complete anything without Bunting's approval, and to obey the dictates of the examining committee.
He found out the interesting fact about John Wesley's constitution from Wesley himself, but Bunting can strike it out if he wishes, and reference is made to the ordination of the "Friers?", and several other characteristics of the work.
