This also includes a long (?80pp) untitled, unsigned manuscript with a covering letter about it signed by 'John' [a note by Rowbotham at the top says 'John Hoyland - section from novel about sexual politics in 1970']. John Hoyland was active in the 1970s men's groups. This is an early draft of an unpublished novel which provides an insight into sexual politics in the 1970s. Hoyland taught with Rowbotham at the Tower Hamlets College of Further Education in the 1960s; they set up Agitprop in 1968, a network linking radical artists to left campaigns and later co-edited the newspaper, 'Jobs for a Change', at the GLC between 1983 and 1986.
