Scope and Content

Varied correspondence including: numerous letters from fellow Women's Liberation Movement activists in the UK, USA and elsewhere, writing to comment on publications by Rowbotham, give news of their activities, and suggest sources for future articles; information about the Women's Liberation Movement in Ireland; invitations to speak at meetings or workshops, and write articles; correspondence with the Cambridge medical student who typed her work. Several letters comment in detail on manuscripts sent by Rowbotham, or her published articles; other topics covered include the situation of Cuban women and the history of the Bristol Women's Liberation Movement.
