Scope and Content

Postcards of paintings by French, Flemish, Dutch artists, including original dividers detailing sub-sections of postcards. Subsections include French painters listed by name, such as Gaspar Dughet, Claude Lorrain, Louis le Nain, Nicolas Poussin, Maurice Quentin de la Tour, François Hubert Drouais, Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Jean-Marc Nattier, Francois Boucher, Antoine Watteau, Jean-Honore Fragonard, E. Aubry, C. Hoin, Jean-Baptiste Greuze, and Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin. Dutch artists listed by name include Jacob Ruisdael, Gerard Terborch, Gabriel Metsu, Jan Vermeer, Pieter de Hooch, Adriaen van Ostade, Rembrandt, Aert de Gelder, Ferdinand Bol, Carel Fabritius, and Frans Hals.
