Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding the nomination of Colonial Government contributing members of the Governing Body. Also includes correspondence about the death of Professor Sylvain Levi and Sir Harry Stephen who served on the Governing Body.

Administrative / Biographical History

A contributing body was a body, whether incorporated or not, which had contributed a capital sum of £10,000 or which contributes an annual sum of not less than £500 to the funds of the School or for any special purpose approved by the Governing Body in connection with the School.
